Plaster Paint offers 2 types of Liquid Wax sealants: Matte finish and Gloss finish. NO buffing, and Liquid Wax is WATER BASED, so what does that mean for you? If you decide to change the color of something you paint, long gone are the days of having to strip it off before painting, since most waxes are oil based. Since it's water based, you can paint right over it!
Liquid Wax Matte will give you a beautiful satin look, & is perfect for every project, but is especially great on darker colors!
Liquid Wax Gloss is a very hard wax that leaves a high sheen.
Both provide a durable seal, & are perfect for wood and non-porous surfaces such as formica, laminate, metal, plastics, glass and appliances. Liquid Wax can also be used as a primer for slick surfaces like glass or metal, and for bleed through issues in cases of varnish, nicotine or other hard to remove residues. You can also use Liquid Wax for outdoor painted pieces. Best applied using synthetic bristle brushes or a soft non-shedding cloth of similar color of your paint color.
8 oz – Perfect for a small project.
16 oz Pint – Usually more than enough to complete a large size piece of furniture.
32 oz Quart – Covers approximately 150 square feet and will cover several pieces of furniture.
